Terminal #183
TD-001 photographed in Containment while not phased out of reality.
Lead Researcher(s): Head Researcher Sekiyo, Head Researcher Neena, Research Director Freeman, N/A
Containment Site: Site-08
Item #: TD-001
Frequent Codenames: The Doll, Botched Thaumaturgy, Botched Reality
Object Class: Safe, possible Keter, possible Neutralized. Location unknown. Keter. See Incident TD-001_2.
Special Containment Procedures:
- Level 1 Clearance required.
- Contained in Temporary Cell.
- No guards required.
- No physical contact is to be made.
- Is to be disabled until testing via Thaumaturgy nullification techniques.
- In the event TD-001 vanishes, contact any Head Researcher or the Research Director immediately.
Re-containment Protocol (OUTDATED): In the event TD-001 breaches containment, a Mobile Task Force unit or Security personnel are to locate and detain whoever released TD-001 and question them. If TD-001 is located re-activated, proper precautions to prevent picking up TD-001 are to be utilized.
Description: TD-001 is a doll composed of a currently unknown material that rapidly blinks in and out of Reality. Its Hume level is estimated to jump between 0-157.23Hm at a rapid pace, making most forms of testing impossible. When lifted its "jumps" do not affect the lifting of TD-001, and exerts a red trail (assumed to be some form of 'Thaumaturgic leftover' by Head Researcher Sekiyo). If lifted in the air for more than a second, the subject holding TD-001 has their body changed into a seemingly random material. Subjects affected by TD-001 are to be designated TD-001-1. TD-001 was created by Head Researchers Sekiyo and Neena during a failed ritual to summon a computer monitor. Head Researcher Neena set up a pentagram for the summoning, instead summoning an arm (which later vanished, presumably into TD-001). Head Researcher Sekiyo proceeded to utilize Reality Bending to finish the ritual, however accidentally making the pentagram vanish, leaving the ritual unfinished. Notably, TD-001 is immune to Reality Anchoring devices, although not immune to Thaumaturgic prevention, leading to the assumption that TD-001 is primarily Thaumaturgy-based outside of it jumping in and out of reality.
List of Noted TD-001-1:
- TD-001-1-A: Picked up TD-001 multiple times, each time resulting in a different material. Notable material changes are; Metal, Concrete, Static Electricity(?).
- TD-001-1-B: A researcher. Changed into CCTV Footage of SCP-002's Containment Chamber. Further testing awaiting. After multiple failed attempts to restore TD-001-1-B to their normal form via Reality Bending, TD-001-1-B began to exhibit a form of 'religion' towards TD-001. Soon after, Head Researcher Sekiyo turned TD-001-1-B into Oxygen, which did not neutralize it. It proceeded to make vocalizations and create minor 'tornadoes' before Head Researcher Sekiyo successfully Reality Bent him back to normal.
Incident TD-001_1: On the day of discovery, TD-001 was reported to have went missing. Containment Breach is assumed. It is possible that TD-001 destabilized and fully became non-existent, although not confirmed. Further location attempts on-going.
Incident TD-001_2: Two days after discovery, TD-001 was located in a Universe that was constantly pulling in Thaumaturgically-created items. This is assumed to be the cause of Incident TD-001_1. Contact Head Researcher Sekiyo for more information.
