Masquerade Under the Light

A young girl sat at a Tavern, a hood covering her ears, and a bit of cloth covering her mouth. The light was overhead, yet her shadow was on a nearby wall, as if sitting with her. The tavern-goers paid her no mind, up until she stood up and walked towards the barkeep. "Hello", she greeted, drawing the bartenders eye.
"Aren't you a tad too young to be at a tavern by your lonesome?" the Bartender asked the young woman, tapping on the desk softly.
"I am, but I have gold, and I do need a drink. Do you have fresh water or tea?" the child asked, occasionally glancing to other parts of the room. She counted six people, including the Bartender, excluding herself. Seemingly no guards, not that an issue of that sort would arise.
"I'm not gonna serve a minor. Go ask your parents or something, kid." the Bartender responded, before moving onto another customer.
"Apologies" the child said, before her eyes began to glow a bright blue, a stark contrast from their usual white. Wisps of shadow began coming from her sleeves, before half of the people in the taverns lobby collapsed, including the bartender. She stepped into the bartenders area and made herself a cup of tea, leaving twenty pieces of gold on the counter, before leaving the tavern. The occupants of the tavern, shocked, didn't do much but yell. Once the girl left, the three remaining occupants rushed outside to grab a guard. A few seconds later, every person in the tavern woke up. When the three came back with a guard, the tavern was resuming practically as normal, save for the bartender occasionally glancing to the twenty new gold pieces in her jar, and the missing thing of tea. The guard decided the event wasn't worth looking into, since the child did overpay what her fine would've been, and accounted for the cost of the tea.
