Special Containment Procedures: Due to SCP-XXXX’s anti-memetic nature, minimal security is required. Risk management teams may only take action once a Class-C trespasser has resided within SCP-XXXX for longer than 24 hours, or if a local has proven Esfandier-positive (see below).

Regular brain scans must be conducted on local residents of the area and, as of late, regular visitors of the site, particularly for any neural abnormalities that match the formation of an Esfandier’s Area. Individuals proven positive must be watched over with extensive surveillance protocols to ensure that they do not come into contact with SCP-XXXX's radius of effect. If possible, Esfandier-positive patients must be operated on to surgically remove the portion of the brain.

Personnel tasked with interim assignments at Area-110 within SCP-XXXX, staying for at least 12 hours minimum, must be issued with at least three doses M6+012 Class H Mnestics. Personnel that permanently operate in Area-110, however, must either prove to be Esfandiar-positive or provided higher doses of M7+097 Class H Mnestics to resume regular tasks around the facility.

Description: SCP-XXXX refers to an artificial subterranean complex that has manifested within a former limestone mine in the municipality of Louisville, Kentucky circa 2001 - 2009, despite evidence suggesting its appearance dating back much earlier. Based on remote sizing, SCP-XXXX is 400 m2 large and extends approximately 100 m down, though internal expeditions have estimated between 350,000 to 400,000 m2 large spaces within. Various, seemingly intermittently arranged or selected, chambers have been known to manifest within the zone, such as vehicle storage, former American WWII barracks, limestone caverns, abandoned subterranean zip-lines, and, as of recently, segments of existing Foundation data storage facilities1. However, each chamber appears to only be a rough replicate of its original copy, as all matter within the rooms were identified to be various common cave earths and limestone with anomalous, non-chemical forms of discoloration.

All sapient entities that enter the area will immediately undergo a Type-III Demi-Memetic Metaphysical Angiohazard2. Minor details in past memories will be difficult to distinguish between other existing memories and memories being presently created are slightly repressed with an insufficient amount of information being remembered, subjecting entrants to slight anterograde amnesia.
