A Silent Team

The Foundation is a widespread organization. We are all aware of this fact. There are teams located in every corner and pocket of the earth, all going about their own task. This is about one such team. They are referred to as Intelligence Agency Team Alpha-Kilo-Nine, Team AKN for short. They are a team allocated to the frontier of Alaska, surveying the North Slope Borough area, between the Colville River and the city of Atqasuk. What are they surveying for, you may ask? That is a very good question, and one that's very easy to answer! You see, us over here at the Intelligence Agency are what get the Mobile Task Forces and all those big wigs information. We are what jot down your notes, and toss them on over for containment. If you didn't have us, the Foundation would be going in blind to operations. Team AKN happens to be surveying the North Slope for any anomalous activity. Quite a big task, eh? I don't blame you if you find a sudden respect for these fellows.

Team AKN consists of around five permanent members. These members were carefully selected, designed to have a decent chemistry with each other, while still remaining professional. These five individuals each have their own skill set that proves to be invaluable to the team, each no better or worse then the last. From survival experts, to computer wizards, they cover all grounds. This is how it should be with most teams in my opinion, but you know, I don't get control over those sorts of things.

Now, lets get to describing these members, shall we?

First off, we got Jakob Brown. A simple man who led a simple life before the Foundation. Perfect for what we look for in a Intelligence Agent. He doesn't stand out in a crowd, and just lived a quiet life. He was approached by the Foundation due to his work in the United State Central Intelligence Agency, otherwise known as the C.I.A. Mr. Brown was employed by the C.I.A during the close of the Cold War to root out and question possible Communist or Communist sympathizers within the United States. Mr. Brow was adept at what he did, adept enough for the Foundation to take a look at him. He was recruited in, and here we are now. His skills in intelligence gathering and blending into the crowd proves to be a useful asset for the team when outside interaction becomes necessary. That really all to hear about Mr. Brown.. As I said, quiet life.

Next, the second member of the team. Jules Killian. Yes, her full first name is Jules. She is the tech junkie of the team, an absolute wizard when it comes to technology. That might not be true, but being the old man I am, it seems like that to me. Hell, I just barely figured out what System32 was. Anyhow, she came up from a rural town in the middle of Missouri of all places. I didn't even know they had internet out there. Her skills from technology shone from a young age when she began programming small things. You know, making little games like snake and stuff, easy really. This evolved into more cyber security when she enrolled into college. She went to some unimportant community college, getting a degree in cyber security. She used this knowledge when she joined the United States Airforce, and they put her talents to use in keeping the military's information encrypted, among other tasks. The Foundation took notice of her skills, and picked her up. They felt like she would be a valuable asset to this team. Half of the team probably couldn't figure out how to plug in a mouse, much less fiddle with SCiPNET and all that.

Moving on once more, we come to Alex Donivan.
